| Bryant And Keen At Damax In The Ascari For The Rest Of The Season |
|
Oliver Bryant has switched from Tech 9’s Porsche to a Damax Ascari for the rest of the British GT season, and will share the car with Phil Keen.
The pair tested the car at Silverstone last week, Bryant commenting that “it’s good on the brakes and it absorbs the bumps better than the Porsche. It’s a well-balanced car and we should be right up there.” “We think this driver pairing in an Ascari will be competitive and help Oliver in his championship battle,” said Damax team owner Robin Ward.
Phil Keen has twice played a very significant role in helping others towards, or close to, GT titles (Sean Edwards in FIA GT3s last year and Ryan Hooker in the Cup Class in Britain), but at the moment, Oliver Bryant lies 20 points adrift of the leaders (Bradley Ellis and Alex Mortimer). However, there are still seven races left this season, beginning with two hours around Silverstone this Sunday (August 12). |
